Project Hemmen
Together with Landgoed Hemmen, a regional collaboration has been established to implement an energy-efficient pumping system to help preserve the estate.
Battery as an energy buffer
A 10kWh battery provides sufficient energy storage to allow energy-neutral pumping during periods without sunlight.
Shaftless design
Water is pumped from an adjacent pond, which is connected to local rivers, to a higher elevation within the estate. Our pumps feature a shaftless design, minimizing the risk of entangled ropes, plants, or other debris.
Smart charging
Thanks to the installation of solar panels, enough energy is generated to allow energy-neutral pumping on sunny days. With our own smart technology, the pump always prioritizes solar energy over grid power.
Smart pumping
The system includes digital controls for remote monitoring. Electronic float switches minimize energy use by activating the pump only when needed.
